Hey everyone, how’s it hangin’? I’m Bangkok Seven, and this is my blog.
I’ll be honest. I didn’t hit Nana, Cowboy, or Soi 7 last week. I wanted to—especially since ATK tests aren’t mandatory on Cowboy anymore—but I couldn’t get my lazy ass out of Patpong. Also, I’ve had Omicron symptoms all week that stubbornly refuse to abate (cough, sore throat, night chills, headache, body aches, fatigue). Three tests in as many days all came back negative, though, so maybe it’s just a regular cold. Whatever it is, it had me in bed early five out of the last seven nights, but I was still able to hit a couple of my fave joints in the Pong. Here’s a photo montage of my weak week…
On a midweek run at Soi 2 I caught these lovely XXX Lounge girls coming to work. That’s Nan and Beer.
Lately I’ve been engaged in a long-term taste test of moo dat deyow in Silom. The above are both from Shenanigan’s, along with their salt-chili chicken wings.
G’s German Restaurant on Soi 4. Above left is their meat plate and also cheese plate. ‘Twas fantastic. Then later, while hanging out at XXX Lounge, I ordered G’s meatballs and spring rolls.
Thursday I popped in to King’s Castle and bought Golf a drink, then hung out with Pbai at XXX.
Above left was the view inside King’s Castle–lots of chickies over there these days. And next to XXX, Crown Royal has reopened.
Above left is a PYT from Pink Panther, and next to her are three gals from XXX signing up for a Discord community where gogo dancers can talk with their customers overseas. More on that later…
Shenanigan’s nachos, breakkie, and Leffe brun. Oh, and Pupae.
Above left is a giant gecko that hitched a ride to Foodland, and at right is the new setup in the back of Black Pagoda.
If you’re one of the 10 people who read my posts and also watch the Bangkok Nites Sunday Rap podcast, don’t bother looking for the latter. Both Jack Nites and I were alternately under the weather all week, and so we didn’t carve out time to record one. But hopefully we’ll be back to normal for next Sunday. Truth be told, I’m already on te mend. I even felt good enough last night to hit XXX Lounge for their American Hot Dog BBQ. I had two dogs, and loaded them up the way I used to at Dodger games back in Los Angeles–with ketchup, mustard, and sweet pickle relish. The only thing missing was the crack of the bat and the smooth silky voice of Vin Scully.
And just FYI, I wasn’t totally useless last week. I managed to MacGuyver together a website for gogo dancers to chat with and accept donations from overseas customers. It became a necessity this month as Paypal Thailand did away with all personal accounts. So in an effort to help out a team of girls from Patpong, I made a member’s only page where I post their pics and videos—one or two per day—for fans the world over to ogle, and for those with the means and desire to send payments to help the girls pay bills. It’s US $10/month to join (the lowest allowable fee), and if you’re interested, here’s the link: ismygirl.com/bangkokgogodancers and for shits and giggles, there’s some free content there as well.
And that’s the long and short of Seven’s week, friends. I hope you’re staying safe and well. Remember, everyone will get Omicron and everyone will be fine. Here’s to the end of the scamdemic, and to another week above ground in the greatest country on Earth: Thailand. Cheers.
